Voices from the South 2

Over the past few years, the RINGO project has spear­head­ed efforts for Inter­na­tion­al Non-Gov­ern­men­tal Organ­i­sa­tions (INGOs) to reimag­ine their prac­tices and poli­cies, under­scor­ing the cru­cial role of local and nation­al organ­i­sa­tions in trans­form­ing inter­na­tion­al devel­op­ment. This report from the RINGO project inves­ti­gates the evolv­ing dynam­ics between Fun­ders, INGOs and local/national civ­il soci­ety organ­i­sa­tions. The report builds on our first Voic­es from the South study in 2021 that high­light­ed pow­er imbal­ances and sys­temic inequal­i­ties in North-South NGO rela­tion­ships.
