RINGO Submission: Evidence to the UK Parliament International Development Committee

In October 2025, the RINGO Project submitted written evidence to the UK Parliament’s International Development Committee’s inquiry on the future of UK aid and development assistance. We are urging a rethink of UK aid priorities in light of global funding cuts and shifting development needs.

The submission emphasised that reduced aid budgets risk undermining the UK’s influence unless they are realigned to support locally-led civil society and flexible, long-term funding that allows organisations in the Majority World to meet the needs of their communities and drive sustainable development.
