The RINGO Connect meetings provide an opportunity to make connections between changemakers and connect the dots between initiatives that add up to systems change in global civil society.
This RINGO community is rich with people doing amazing things to shift power and build a more resilient, just and equitable civil society. RINGO welcomes actors from local and national civil society organisations, networks and movements, funders, INGOs and intermediaries, academia, private sector and everyone in between. Let’s bring all these diverse experiences and perspectives to our virtual table, where everyone is invited.
An exercise in community solutioning
We are offering an informal, semi-structured online space where you can take the floor to share a challenge you are facing, exchange new ideas, highlight initiatives, weave knowledge, offer peer support, discuss pressing issues, and more. RINGO facilitators will be on hand to guide us to move from ideas to action.
“My takeaway/reflection is that we need to be more bold and take risks in taking action on the change we want to see.”
Participant at the July RINGO Connect meeting
Every month, you choose to join a discussion group on the theme that matters to you:
- South-South / Diaspora Collaboration
- Funding / Resource Flows
- Future Roles of INGOs
- Power and Voice
- Conservation and Climate Justice
- Peacebuilding and Conflict
Fostering solidarity
The RINGO Connect meetings are more than just a talking shop. They offer a monthly opportunity for people from across civil society to come together, co-conspire and foster solidarity between and across sectors and geographies. Together we can build the collective action we urgently need to meet this moment of disruption across civil society and co-create a new system.
“I felt the solidarity and connection with people from different countries leading with the same issues, engaged in shifting the power and promoting changes.”

A space for connection
The sessions will evolve organically to meet your needs so come along with an open mind, a willingness to engage and your morning coffee / brown bag lunch / afternoon tea / evening cocoa…
