The Reverse Call for Proposals reimagines the fundamental way in which local civil society actors secure funding and resources, by putting them in the driving seat for change.
Instead of funders and INGOs, local organisations take the lead: they define their own priorities, decide what kind of support would genuinely help — funding, technical expertise, advocacy, legal assistance, or something else entirely — and issue their own call inviting potential partners to respond. Local networks then vet and select who they want to work with, on their own terms.
